President's Message

Welcome to the Biorisk Association of Singapore’s website. With COVID-19, biosafety and biosecurity have increasing caught greater attention worldwide. More efforts have to be coordinated to ensure that the unseen microbial threats do not overcome the human world. At BAS, we hope to foster collaborations among persons involved in any form of biosafety and biosecurity. Through seminars, workshops, and small group discussions (some virtual), we aim to increase awareness and spread knowledge about biorisks that we face in our professional and personal lives. Through you, we can make a positive difference to every individual and organization across our world.
